Photography / Videography / Media at Fill Your Cup
We like to share a few photos / videos from our gatherings. They help neighbors see what these events look like, so it’s easier to show up the first time. But your yes matters more to us than any photo.
How it works
- Coming to an event means you’re okay with being in photos we share.
- You can say no at any time. Just tell the host, before, during or after the event. You don’t have to give a reason.
- If you say no, we won’t take photos of you, and we won’t post any we already took.
What we photograph
- The room, the table, the coffee, hands working on projects
- Small groups talking, usually from a distance or from behind
- Close-ups of a person only after we’ve asked that person
What we don’t do
- We don’t photograph anyone who has said no.
- We don’t photograph anyone while they’re sharing something personal.
- We don’t tag or name anyone unless they ask us to.
- We don’t sell photos or use them in ads for anyone else.
Kids
If kids are at an event, we won’t post a photo where a child can be recognized unless a parent or guardian has said yes.
Changed your mind?
That’s fine, any time. Email hello@fillyourcup.co or message the host, and we’ll take the media down within 24 hours.
Where photos go
Our Luma event pages, fillyourcup.co, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, our newsletter, or occasionally a partner such as an event co-host, who will follow these same rules.
Questions? Ask the host. We’d rather have the conversation than the photo.
